Shona Lindsay is the founder of Lindsay Heritage and has over thirteen years experience working in the heritage and archaeology sector within Sydney, NSW, and overseas. She is a full member of ICOMOS and provides expert advice in relation to best heritage practice. She has worked as a Senior Heritage Consultant in the private sector and is a Senior Heritage Officer for Local Government.

Shona provides heritage assessments, heritage studies, approval applications, statements of heritage impact, archaeological assessments, heritage interpretation plans and strategies, and archival recordings for development-led projects. She has experience as a Heritage Expert Witness in the NSW Land and Environment Court (LEC).

Shona provides advice on building design and construction to clients in relation to heritage impacts, sympathetic designs, meeting Development Control Plan (DCP) building guidelines, and appropriate approval pathways for developments. She has extensive experience in project management on small to large projects working from design concept through to construction. 

Lindsay Heritage is pleased to have contributed to projects across the City of Sydney, Bondi Junction, the Inner West, Roseville, Wahroonga, Newcastle, and Windsor. Our work has encompassed a range of developments, from small-scale housing alterations and additions to commercial buildings and large commercial precincts.
